Tackling a Coolant Leak in an Audi Q7
This morning we had an Audi Q7 in our workshop, waiting for some TLC after the owner noticed a warning light. So today it's our job to find out why!
The world of car repair is we often start with a bit of detective work, so we began with the usual suspects: the radiator, pump, hoses, and heater. After a thorough check, we identified the culprit as the coolant shut off valve in the valley of the engine. Something we have seen before.
With the issue located, we were able to replace the faulty parts, put the engine back together again and refill the system with fresh coolant matching Audi's specifications.
